Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth is seeking a Gastrointestinal Procedure Nurse to deliver compassionate, skilled nursing care in the procedure setting and in post-procedure care. You will collaborate with the gastroenterology team and families, ensuring evidence-based practice and strong customer relations.
The role requires 1 year of RN experience, Texas RN licensure, current BLS, and PALS or NRP certification, with GI experience preferred.

Summary: The Gastrointestinal Procedure Nurse will deliver competent and skilled individualized nursing care to patients in and out of the procedure room and skilled nursing care to families according to their identified needs. The Registered Nurse will deliver care with a team-orientation, an emphasis on good customer relations, sound clinical judgment and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidenced based practice. The RN may serve as a liaison between the Gastroenterologist and other members of the medical team.
Monday - Friday 0730 - 1500
On-Call Required (3 - 5 days per month)
