The Gastroenterology Technician III (GT III) proficiently performs a variety of activities that support the nursing and medical staff of the GI Lab, which includes preparing supplies, equipment, and room for procedures; handling specimens and cleaning/disinfecting scopes and other equipment according to standards; and troubleshooting equipment appropriately. The GT III demonstrates and role models personal and professional effectiveness.
