Job summary

Borland Groover in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care in our fast-paced gastroenterology practice. You will assess patients, educate families, and support transitions of care while collaborating with physicians.

Responsibilities include measuring vitals, medication reconciliation, chart review, assisting with examinations, administering meds per orders, and maintaining accurate EHR documentation. Travel to other offices may be required.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license required.
• Associate degree in nursing or higher.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with EMR and medical software.
• Strong customer service and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, record vitals, patient history, medications and allergies.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Coordinate patient education and transitions of care.
• Prepare referrals and review records for visits.
• Document in electronic health records.
• Support clinic operations and may cover other offices as needed.
