Borland Groover seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to float among Florida gastroenterology clinics, coordinating nursing care and patient education. The role supports efficient patient flow in a fast-paced specialty practice.

Responsibilities include vital signs, medication administration under physician orders, chart reviews in the EMR, vaccines, referrals, and comprehensive patient education across multiple offices.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in the State of Florida.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• One year of experience in hospital or clinic setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Efficient rooming of patients and recording vital signs and histories.
• Administer medications per physician order and document in the EMR.
• Perform patient education and triage within nursing scope.
• Coordinate referrals to other physicians and departments.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes in electronic health records.
