Methodist Medical Group in North Texas seeks a Practice Manager 2 - Gastroenterology to supervise daily operations and work with physicians to guarantee high-quality patient care. You will guide staff performance, oversee budgets, and drive operational excellence across multiple practices.

Ideal candidates will have a health-care administration degree, 3+ years of supervisory experience, and strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, public health, health information management or business administration preferred.
• Three years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with physicians, staff and patients.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of health care administrative software.
• Good leadership, motivation, training and goal-setting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Financial and accounting skills; knowledge of finance best practices.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily facility operations to ensure smooth, efficient performance.
• Supervise front-end revenue cycle workflows and monitor practice revenue indicators.
• Lead staff rounds, huddles, and meetings to drive engagement and development.
• Assist in annual operating budget development and budget monitoring.
• Manage business affairs for assigned practices and report to MMG leadership.
• Utilize data to inform decisions and report patient experience metrics.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff; handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Coordinate staffing and scheduling; ensure adequate coverage.
• Oversee inventory for medications and medical equipment and oversee resupply.
• Maintain security and occupational health and safety at practices.
• Address patient complaints and collaborate with providers on service improvements.
• Support recruitment and onboarding of providers; assist growth strategies.
