Job summary

AMN Healthcare seeks a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support in Winston-Salem, NC. Start ASAP; schedule three weeks per month, Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; no holidays and no call. Outpatient setting; Epic EMR.

Candidates must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology with a Gastroenterology fellowship, and hold ACLS and BLS; North Carolina medical license.

AMN provides malpractice insurance and coordinates travel, lodging, and transportation.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology is required.
• Gastroenterology fellowship required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• North Carolina medical license required.
• Outpatient/ambulatory GI experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general gastroenterology procedures in an outpatient setting.
• Provide patient care for ~15 patients per shift.
• Work three weeks per month, Mon–Fri, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; no holidays or on-call.

Gastroenterology Physician – StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $349.20 - $378.00. This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & Requirements for this opportunity

• Schedule: 3 weeks per month, Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.; no holidays and no call.
• Practice Setting: Outpatient.
• Types of Cases: General gastroenterology procedures; approximately 15 patients per shift.
• Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days.
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic.
• Certifications Required: Board Certified in Gastroenterology, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support; Gastroenterology fellowship required.
• Licensure Required: North Carolina medical license only.
