Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking a Gastroenterology physician for locum tenens coverage in High Point, NC. The assignment features inpatient consultations and procedures, with a 1 week per month schedule and on-call weekend coverage. The ideal candidate is board-certified in GI with NC licensure or IMLC eligibility and holds ACLS/BLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Gastroenterology (or equivalent).
• Active North Carolina license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient gastroenterology consultations and procedures.
• Locum tenens coverage with a 1 week per month schedule; Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–5 p.m.

This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

Schedule: 1 week per month, Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–5 p.m.; 1 weekend of call per month, Friday 4:30 p.m.–Monday 7:30 a.m.

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Types of Cases: Gastroenterology; inpatient consultations and procedures

Credentialing Timeframe: 60–90 days

Electronic Medical Record: Epic

Certifications Required: Board Certified in Gastroenterology, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Basic Life Support

Licensure Required: North Carolina license only or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
