Fornance, our employed specialty practice group, is seeking to add an Advanced Gastroenterologist to our team of outstanding physicians. Join us and make a difference.

Position Details

1. Comprehensive gastrointestinal healthcare services including advanced diagnostics, endoscopic therapies, and advanced endoscopic procedures.
2. Promotion of a patient-centric culture, individualized care, and a positive work environment.
3. Current practice includes 15 physicians practicing general and advanced gastroenterology, with 5 GI physicians at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery.
4. Mix of inpatient and outpatient work, weekend call only 3-4 weekends per year, and rotating weeknight call with 7 other providers.
5. Opportunity for an academic appointment at the Sydney Kimmel College of Medicine.
6. Three endoscopy locations equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, including 190 Olympus scopes.

Minimum Qualifications

1. MD or DO from an accredited program or foreign equivalent.
2. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency.
3. Completion of an ACGME-accredited GI fellowship.
4. Board certified/eligible in IM and GI.
5. Appropriate licenses and certifications.

Additional Requirements

Covid vaccination is required for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University. If not vaccinated, you must receive the vaccination prior to hire, unless an approved medical or religious exemption is granted.
