Practice Details
- Bread and butter GI practice with options for advanced endoscopic procedures, including esophageal manometry, Fibroscan, video capsule endoscopy, ERCP, SpyGlass with EHL, Bravo pH testing, radiofrequency ablation, and EndoFLIP.
- The Gastroenterology Group comprises 4 gastroenterologists and 2 clinical providers.
- Schedule: 50% Office and 50% Procedures.
- The new physician would bring hospital call frequency to 1:6.
- Utilizes AllScripts EMR.
- The hospital recently built a new Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).
- A busy GI practice can be established from day one, with over 400 new referrals received monthly.
- The GI clinic is located above the ASC.
- Opportunity for investment in the ASC and a shareholder track in the clinic.
- The group partners with Kentucky Cancer Link to provide colorectal cancer screening without financial hardship to qualifying patients.
- Physicians rotate on inpatient GI services with mid-level support across two hospitals, consolidating inpatient duties and enhancing quality of life.
