Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join a team focused on high-quality GI care for residents in skilled nursing facilities.

You will work with a dedicated healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans. The role emphasizes coordination of care, documentation, and patient-centered approaches in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted NP/PA/Physician license.
• DEA License.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited NP program.
• Minimum 1 year of Gastroenterology experience.
• Experience documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.) with training provided.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand/walk 6-8 hours daily.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care.
• Assess and treat patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to develop accurate diagnoses.
• Prescribe medications and administer treatments as appropriate.
• Counsel residents and their families on health plans and care options.
• Manage chronic GI conditions and monitor patient progress.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive healthcare services and coordinate patient care
• Assessing and treating patients with gastrointestinal diseases and conditions
• Work closely with a team of healthcare professionals
• Assess, diagnose, and treat residents' physical and mental well‑being
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests
• Develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans
• Prescribe medication and administer treatments
• Provide counseling to residents and their families
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team for seamless coordination of care
• Manage chronic conditions and monitor progress

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long‑term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Gastroenterology
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
