Job summary

You will provide age-appropriate care, perform histories and physicals, order tests, prescribe medications, and collaborate with physicians and support staff.

A Master's degree and Arizona NP license with prescriptive authority are required, along with BCLS, DEA, fingerprint clearance and board certification.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for advanced practice
• Arizona NP licensure with prescriptive authority required
• Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC/AANP) required or eligible
• BCLS certification required at hire
• Fingerprint Clearance Card required at hire or within seven days
• DEA license required at hire (if applicable)
• Bilingual-Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care within the team
• perform histories and physicals, order and interpret tests
• prescribe medications and coordinate with specialists
• lead and mentor nursing staff and collaborate with physicians
• adhere to state nursing scope and organizational guidelines
