Job summary

The Specialty Alliance, a physician-led MSO, supports CTGI - Bloomfield in delivering advanced independent gastroenterology practice in Bloomfield, CT. The Advanced Practice Provider role is to provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision within a private practice setting and GI Alliance framework.

Qualified candidates hold CT-licensed NP or PA credentials and will participate in credentialing, ongoing education, and collaborative patient care to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• CT licensed NP or PA with current credentials.
• Ability to provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision.
• Proven communication and patient education skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in continuing education and credentialing requirements
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
