Job summary

The Specialty Alliance is seeking a State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join CTGI - Windham, a Connecticut gastroenterology practice powered by GI Alliance.

This physician-led MSO emphasizes autonomy and provides national-scale resources so clinicians can focus on delivering top-notch GI care in a private practice setting.

Qualifications

• State licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
• GI experience preferred.
• Provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision in hospital and clinic settings.
• Maintain credentialing and participate in ongoing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in credentialing and continuing education requirements
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Description

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
• Perform other duties as assigned
