Job summary

St. Luke’s University Health Network in Monroe County, PA, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Gastroenterology team.

You will perform medical evaluations, counseling, and treatment in collaboration with the attending physician, including virtual care as appropriate, with opportunities for teaching and research. You must be board eligible or certified, hold PA or NP licensure in PA or NJ, and demonstrate patient-centered care, strong exam skills, and commitment to

Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified NP or PA with current license in PA or NJ as determined by job location.
• Ambulatory GI care or hospital/clinic experience preferred.
• Ability to work under physician supervision and in collaboration with the gastroenterology team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients under physician supervision.
• Perform evaluations, counseling, and education for GI patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and manage treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
• Engage in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
