Job summary

The Specialty Alliance, a physician-led MSO powering University Gastroenterology, seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a combined hospital and clinic practice. You will provide scheduled patient services under physician supervision, complete histories, and assist with tentative diagnoses.

You will counsel patients and families, engage in credentialing activities, and adapt to a flexible schedule aligned with clinical operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in the state.
• Gastrointestinal experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting.
• Complete patient histories and physicals.
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests.
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease.
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities.
• Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
