Capital Medical Group in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient GI team. This role offers a Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm schedule with no nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities, enabling you to practice at the top of your license.

Join an experienced team of physicians and APPs, with Epic EMR, mentorship, and a structured orientation in a collaborative academic setting; care for a diverse adult and geriatric population.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience following completion of NP training.
• Gastroenterology experience required.
• New graduate NPs will not be considered for this position.
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Active or eligible for Washington, DC licensure.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common gastrointestinal conditions.
• Provide GI screenings, work-ups, follow-up and post-surgical care while managing a panel of patients with chronic GI conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, residents, and medical students to support coordinated patient care.
• Deliver patient-centered care within a collaborative academic practice.
• Document clinical encounters using Epic EMR.
