Job summary

OptumCare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join the Gastroenterology team in Arlington, WA. The role is outpatient only, with no inpatient duties or call, and includes a structured onboarding period of up to six months.

After onboarding, providers typically see 14–16 patients per day. The position offers a strong base salary with quality and production incentives, CME support, and a generous benefits package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• National Nurse Practitioner certification (AANP or ANCC).
• Unrestricted Washington State license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Active Washington State DEA license prior to start date.
• 2+ years practicing as a fully independent nurse practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage outpatient Gastroenterology care for an established patient population.
• Evaluate, diagnose and treat a broad range of GI conditions.
• Collaborate with Gastroenterologists and NPs in a team-based model.
• This is an outpatient only setting with no inpatient responsibilities, procedures or call.
• Robust onboarding up to 6 months to support long-term success.
• After onboarding, see approximately 14–16 patients per day.
