Job summary

Capital Medical Group is seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join the outpatient GI team in Washington, DC. This opportunity offers an experienced GI NP a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, no weekends, and no call, within a collaborative academic practice.

Join a team of physicians and APPs with a mentorship-focused environment, practice at the top of your license, and care for a diverse patient population in an outpatient clinic setting using Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• Gastroenterology experience required.
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Active DC licensure or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common gastrointestinal conditions.
• Provide GI screenings, work-ups, follow-up and post-surgical care while managing a panel of patients with chronic GI conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, residents, and medical students to support coordinated patient care.
• Deliver patient-centered care within a collaborative academic practice.
• Document clinical encounters using Epic EMR.
