Capital Medical Group in Washington, DC is seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join the outpatient GI team. Enjoy a Monday–Friday schedule (8 am–5 pm) with no nights or weekends and no on-call responsibilities, in a collaborative academic practice.

As a GI NP, you will provide comprehensive GI care, diagnose and manage GI conditions, perform screenings and follow-ups, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in Epic-based workflow.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of Nurse Practitioner experience following completion of NP training.
• Gastroenterology experience required.
• New graduate NPs will not be considered for this position.
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Active or eligible for Washington, DC licensure.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care for a diverse adult and geriatric patient population.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage common gastrointestinal conditions.
• Provide GI screenings, work-ups, follow-up and post-surgical care while managing a panel of patients with chronic GI conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nurses, residents, and medical students to support coordinated patient care.
• Deliver patient-centered care within a collaborative academic practice.
• Document clinical encounters using Epic EMR.

Capital Medical Group (CMG), formerly known as GW Medical Faculty Associates, is seeking a full-time Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient GI team in Washington, DC. This opportunity offers an experienced GI NP a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, no weekends, and no call, along with dedicated mentorship and the support of a collaborative academic practice. Practice at the top of your license while caring for a diverse patient population alongside an experienced team of physicians and APPs.

Position Overview

• Employment Type: Full-time

• Patient Volume: Varies
• Location: Capital Medical Group; Foggy Bottom, Washington, DC
• Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Support/Care Team: 5 physicians, 3 APPs, with MAs and RNs in clinic
• EMR/Technology: Epic

• Base Salary: $130K-$152K range, based upon experience and scope of work
