Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join an outpatient Gastroenterology practice in Georgia. The NP will handle administrative and clinical activities under the Sponsoring Physician, collaborating with staff to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Requires graduate NP program with a Master’s in Nursing and an active RN/APRN license in Georgia. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with benefits and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master Degree in Nursing.
• Must maintain a current RN and APRN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Must demonstrate competence and ability to maintain patient safety and confidentiality, and work irregular schedules.

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality clinical care to patients in hospital and/or office setting according to protocol.
• Completes all Medical Record documentation timely and accurately; complies with coding policies.
• Maximizes timely collection of clinical revenue by submitting complete billing information within 48 hours of service.
• Participates in practice development and community outreach to promote growth.
• Adheres to performance improvement processes to meet regulatory requirements.
