Atrium Health Navicent Medical Group is actively recruiting an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Care team in Georgia. The role supports a fast-paced, high-volume environment across three locations, collaborating with a supervising physician to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities include clinical examinations, treatment planning, ordering tests, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records while upholding patient safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• Suturing experience required.
• Ability to see patients of all ages.
• Prescriptive authority through Georgia boards required.
• DEA license eligibility where applicable.
• Master's or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
• Georgia APRN and RN licensure required.
• Nationally recognized specialty certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality urgent care to patients of all ages.
• Perform procedures as qualified and approved by medical staff.
• Order and interpret lab and radiology tests.
• Prescribe and administer medications when appropriate.
• Maintain timely and accurate medical records and billing documentation.
• Commit to patient safety, confidentiality, and privacy.
