Job summary

Atrium Health Navicent is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner to join the Cardiology team in Macon, Georgia. We seek an APP dedicated to evidence‑based care and excellence in a premier inpatient and outpatient environment.

The role offers a mix between clinic and hospital settings. The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree in Nursing with an active RN and APRN license in Georgia, and commit to ongoing CEUs, confidentiality, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master Degree in Nursing.
• Must maintain a current RN and APRN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• CEU requirements for care in the clinical setting and commitment to confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based cardiovascular care.
• Collaborate with physicians and care teams in both clinic and hospital settings.

For Nurse Practitioners

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a Master Degree in Nursing.
• Certification/License/Registration: Must maintain a current RN and APRN license to practice in the State of Georgia.
• Special Training/Skills: Must demonstrate competence in their practice setting and must be able to perform with a high degree of accuracy to reduce errors in judgment related to care of patients. Must obtain required CEU's in care of patients in the care setting each renewal period. Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Must be able to work irregular schedules dependent upon needs of patients.
