Job summary

Optum WA, (formerly The Everett Clinic) is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Gastroenterology team in Arlington, WA. This outpatient role emphasizes independent GI care within a collaborative, supportive environment at Optum.

You will be part of the Optum Care Delivery team with access to clinical resources and a strong referral base. A structured onboarding period (up to 6 months) helps long-term success, with potential for one virtual visit day per week after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• National NP certification (AANP or ANCC).
• Unrestricted Washington State NP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date).
• Active Washington State DEA license prior to start date.
• 2+ years practicing as a fully independent NP.
• Gastroenterology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage comprehensive outpatient GI care for an established patient population.
• Evaluate, diagnose and treat a broad range of GI conditions.
• Collaborate with Gastroenterologists and other NPs in a team-based care model.
• Nurse Practitioners are integrated and participate in clinical decision making.
• Outpatient setting with no inpatient duties, procedures or call.
• Onboarding up to 6 months with experienced team members; gradual ramp for success.
