Gastroenterology Clinic, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner to work independently under physician supervision in a GI clinic. Requires at least two years of experience; GI experience preferred. You will apply medical techniques and care for a diverse patient population in a clinic setting, five days per week.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, ordering and interpreting tests, and developing outcome-based treatment plans while maintaining high standards of safety and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN licensure required.
• APRN-NP licensure in Texas and specialty certification as required by department.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients and issue appropriate prescriptions.
• Acquire and review patient histories.
• Monitor progress, order labs, diagnostics, and procedures.
• Follow up on results and communicate with patients.
• Cultivate trust and compassionate care for patients.
• Comply with medical regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Perform relevant patient assessments and physical examinations.
• Coordinate and implement patient care plans.
