Job summary

Electronic Caregiver, Inc. is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care for patients with GI, liver, pancreas, and digestive health conditions in outpatient settings.

The role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications, educating patients, coordinating care, and supporting endoscopic procedures while ensuring quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the applicable state of practice.
• MSN or DNP from an accredited program.
• National board certification as FNP, AGNP, or ACNP.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• Minimum three years of NP or equivalent advanced practice experience.
• Ability to independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients within scope.
• Knowledge of GI diseases and preventive screening guidelines.
• Proficiency with EMR systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications as appropriate.
