Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program is preferred.
• Within six months, complete one of CMA/AMT/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA certifications after up to two test attempts.

Responsabilités

• Assures efficient patient flow through the site and prepares patients for examination.
• Assists practitioners with clinical procedures such as ECG, venipuncture, immunizations and specimen collection.
• Maintains exam rooms, inventory, equipment and supplies; adheres to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Communicates effectively with patients and care team; supports open and efficient clinic operations.
• Performs delegated procedures in a safe, efficient manner as directed by supervisors.

Formation

High school diploma or GED

Accredited Medical Assistant training program

Certification eligibility for CMA/AMT/NCCT/NHA/NRCMA (within 6 months)
