Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Gastroenterology team in Lockport, IL. You will greet patients, assist with scheduling and vitals, and support physicians during exams and procedures.

This role requires MA certification or education and CPR, with phlebotomy certification within 90 days. Previous office-based patient care experience is preferred, and travel to nearby clinics may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of Medical Assistant program or health sciences education required.
• Active MA certification through recognized bodies (AMT/NCCT/NHA/ARMA/AAMA) required.
• CPR certification or willingness to become certified.
• Phlebotomy certification within 90 days of hire.
• 2 years of MA/clinical support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vitals, and health history.
• Support physicians during examinations, minor procedures, dressing changes and first aid.
