Job summary

Skagit Regional Health is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to support our inpatient program at Skagit Valley Hospital in Mount Vernon. This full-time role follows a Monday–Friday schedule with no evening or weekend on-call; you will join five physicians to support a dynamic inpatient population.

The ideal candidate holds a Master's degree in nursing, 2–4 years of experience, and an active WA license with BLS.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in nursing for GI or inpatient settings.
• Master's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited program.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain before start date.
• Active BLS certification before starting or within first week.

Responsibilities

• Support inpatient gastroenterology patients in the hospital.
• Handle daytime phone calls for the inpatient program.
• No evening or weekend call required.

Highlights

• Join a collegial team of five (5) physicians in a new role to provide additional support in the inpatient setting.
• This is a full time position with a Monday-Friday schedule. Cover one facility, Skagit Valley Hospital, located in Mount Vernon.
• Provider would help support a dynamic inpatient patient population with a variety of complex gastroenterological conditions and be responsible for helping with daytime phone calls for our inpatient program. No evening or weekend call required.
• This is a hospital-employed position with access to a large, existing in house primary and specialty care referral base.
• Integrated EPIC EMR platform utilized system-wide throughout the organization!

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in nursing from an accredited program.
• 2-4 years of experience is required.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
• Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $128,325 - $144,673 DOE
