Job summary

Skagit Regional Health in Mount Vernon is seeking a Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support our inpatient program and collaborate with a collegial team of five physicians. The role is full-time with a Monday–Friday schedule at Skagit Valley Hospital.

The candidate will handle inpatient gastroenterology cases and daytime calls; no evening or weekend duties. Hospital-employment position with a broad referral base and EPIC EMR integration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies.
• 2-4 years of experience is required.
• Active Washington State license or ability to obtain a Washington State license before start.
• Must have active BLS certification before starting or within first week of employment.
• The ideal candidate will place a priority on improving lives through compassionate and innovative healthcare and focus on building lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties within the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient gastroenterology support in collaboration with five physicians.
