Job summary

VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System seeks a Gastroenterology- Hepatology physician to provide comprehensive patient care in outpatient clinics, specialty procedure clinics, and inpatient services. You will teach medical students, interns and residents and participate in the educational programs of the University of Colorado-Anschutz School of Medicine.

Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology is preferred; prior VA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Citizenship and medical degree requirements as specified by VA.
• Full and unrestricted medical license in the US or District of Columbia.
• Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology preferred.
• Active VA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient clinics, specialty procedural clinics, and inpatient services.
• Teach medical students, interns and residents; participate in University of Colorado-Anschutz education.
• Develop and advance clinical programs within the section.
• Coordinate care with primary care and other services in a multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in quality assurance, peer reviews, and administrative duties.
