Medical Associates Gastroenterology at West Campus is hiring a full-time Certified Medical Assistant. Join a team focused on hands-on GI procedures and patient care in a supportive culture that values independence and collaboration.

The role supports nursing and physician teams, handles patient education, documentation, and operational tasks to maintain high-quality care. Schedule: 72 hours per pay period, 4 days per week, with flexible arrangements.

Qualificações

• Must possess CMA certification or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 1 year or less experience in a surgical office or related setting preferred.
• Strong patient communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with health care team to direct/perform nursing assessment and interventions.
• Integrate nursing process in all patient contact, care, and testing; review records with physicians.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff; promote patient education.
• Document care provided in medical records; ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain an office environment that is safe, neat, and stocked with supplies and equipment.
• Demonstrate flexibility for additional duties and participate in meetings.
• Handle reimbursements: charge tickets, referrals, and insurance requirements.
• Complete all other assigned projects and duties.
