Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an NP/PA program.
• Active state licensure as NP/PA.
• Board certification (AANP/ANCC/NCCPA).
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
• BLS certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and histories.
• Diagnose and manage GI conditions (GERD, IBD, IBS, PUD, liver disease, viral hepatitis, pancreatic disorders).
• Order, interpret labs/imaging; develop treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor response per state rules.
• Pre- and post-procedure evaluation for endoscopy.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and prevention.
• Coordinate referrals with care teams.
• Document encounters in EMR; support quality initiatives.
