Washington Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) or Physician’s Assistant (PA-C) to join our gastroenterology practice. The APP works autonomously within the gastroenterology team, delivering comprehensive care and collaborating with physicians, with duties including history taking, assessments, and pre-procedure workups.

The position offers strong compensation, benefits, and opportunities for clinical research and hospital coverage as needed;

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physician Assistant program approved by the CAHEA.
• Current WA State Driver’s license to travel to other clinics or hospitals.
• Extensive knowledge base of physical assessment, differential diagnosis, pathophysiology, pharmacology, and management of acute and chronic patient health problems.
• Clinical experience in gastroenterology preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide care autonomously to a case load in a gastroenterology practice.
• Conduct health histories, physical assessments, and pre-procedure workups.
• Prescribe and regulate medications per Washington state authority.
• Document patient data for continuity of care and coordinate services.
• Collaborate with physicians in managing patient needs.
• Triage calls and provide medical advice and guidance.
