UMC Health System in Texas is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for our Gastroenterology clinic. The APP delivers patient-centered care with autonomy, collaborating with family and specialty physicians to evaluate, diagnose, and manage conditions.

We offer full-time employment, a 40-hour week, and a benefits package including PTO, health and life insurance, disability, retirement plan, and EAP. Evening and weekend hours may be required to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license.
• Must be in good standing with the State of Texas Medical Board or Texas Board of Nursing; or the ability to obtain or transfer your license to Texas.
• BSN or MSN degree and successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program or accredited Nursing Practitioner program.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient-centered care and evaluates, diagnoses, and manages medical conditions.
• Prescribes medications and orders tests; reviews results and documents findings.
• Collaborates with physicians to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
• Maintains accurate and timely patient records according to policy.
• Demonstrates leadership, teamwork, and effective communication with staff and patients.
