Job summary

UT Regional One Physicians is seeking an Advanced Practice Practitioner (NP or PA) for the Gastroenterology Department in Memphis. The role requires 2+ years of GI APP experience and TN license. You will provide primary health care, perform exams, order tests, and coordinate GI care with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities include patient rounds, new consults, education, and participating in procedures, with ongoing documentation and adherence to hospital policies and iRESPECT standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Functions as the primary health care provider to a group of patients.
• Obtains a health history and performs a physical exam to determine diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Coordinates and facilitates gastroenterology care, consultations, and hospital rounds as needed.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure seamless progression of care and patient satisfaction.
