Job summary

Longmont United Hospital in Colorado seeks a Gastroenterology APP to deliver specialized GI care in a collaborative clinic setting. You will provide direct patient care, perform examinations, and coordinate diagnostic testing with physician partners.

The role requires NP or PA certification with at least 2 years in gastroenterology, strong diagnostic skills, and a patient-centered approach. You will educate patients, document thoroughly, and support a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing as Nurse Practitioner.
• State NP license and APN Registry listing.
• Board certification as an APRN.
• RN license and BLS/ACLS certifications.
• Prescriptive authority or plan for RXN.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care: exams, tests interpretation, care plans, prescriptions, admissions and referrals.
• Collaborate with physicians and teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on health problems, treatment plans and prevention.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidential medical records.
