Job summary

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking an APP to provide comprehensive GI care at AdventHealth Avista in Boulder County. You will be a key GI team member, educating patients, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and performing exams in inpatient, operative, and outpatient settings.

Minimum Master’s degree with 2+ years GI experience preferred; NCCPA certification and Colorado PA license required; BLS preferred. Full-time on-site role with relocation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required for APP role.
• NCCPA certification and active Colorado PA license required.
• BLS certification is preferred.
• GI experience is preferred; new graduates considered with GI fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Performs outpatient gastroenterology examinations and evaluates new, consults and established patients.
• Orders and interprets tests; coordinates multidisciplinary care.
• Educates patients and families about treatment plans and self-care.
• Writes orders/prescriptions and makes referrals to specialists as needed.
• Collaborates with APPs and physicians per institutional protocols.
• Maintains confidential patient records and adapts to changing policies.
