Job summary

LECOM Health is seeking a Gastroenterology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our GI team in a patient-focused setting. The APP will support gastroenterology physicians in both inpatient and outpatient care, delivering high-quality evaluation, treatment planning, and procedure support.

The role requires graduate training as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, PA licensure in Pennsylvania (or eligibility), and national certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure (or eligibility).
• National certification required (PA-C or CRNP).
• Experience in gastroenterology, internal medicine, or acute clinical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient evaluations, including comprehensive histories and physicals.
• Assist in developing and managing individualized treatment plans for acute and chronic GI conditions.
• Provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work.
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary care teams.
• Educate patients and families on digestive disease management, medications, and lifestyle modifications.

LECOM Health is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join our growing Gastroenterology team . This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative, patient-focused environment .

Position Summary The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will support the Gastroenterology team in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing high-quality, comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions .

Key Responsibilities
