Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider to join our Gastroenterology practice with offices in Limerick and Phoenixville, PA. The APP will work 36 clinical hours weekly and participate in the on-call rotation after orientation, using Epic EMR across UPHS.

Minimum requirements include an MSN/DNP or PA degree, appropriate NP or NCCPA certification, and current CPR; two years of APP experience, GI preferred, is recommended.

Position Description:

Penn Medicine is excited to be seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our established Gastroenterology practice with offices based in Limerick and Phoenixville, PA, about 35 to 45 minutes northwest of Center City Philadelphia. The provider group currently consists of 4 Physicians and 2 APP’s who care for general GI patients in the ambulatory setting. The practice utilizes the Epic EMR, which is universal throughout the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS).

The APP will work 36 clinical hours weekly and will also participate equally in the practice’s on-call rotation after a suitable orientation period.

Minimum Requirements:

• Licensure to practice professional nursing or a Physician Assistant license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• A MSN, DNP, or Master's in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
• Current certification as a Family or Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, or NCCPA certification
• Current CPR certification
• At least 2 years of prior APP experience, preferably in GI, Hepatology or another medical subspecialty (e.g. Infectious Disease)
