Job summary

The Minneapolis VA Health Care System (MVAHCS) is seeking a board-certified/eligible gastroenterologist with hepatology interest and transplant experience to join its academic medical center. The successful candidate will provide outpatient and inpatient GI services, participate in teaching at the University of Minnesota, and collaborate with research centers.

Qualifications

• Board certified or eligible in gastroenterology.
• Hepatology interest and transplant experience preferred.
• Full and unrestricted medical license in the United States.
• Faculty eligibility and commitment to teaching may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient and inpatient GI consults and procedures.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (colonoscopy, EGD, capsule).
• Participate in teaching and mentoring of fellows, residents, and students.
• Engage in research and education activities as eligible.
