Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital in Northwest Houston seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a thriving practice. The role offers dedicated clinic and endoscopy time, a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, and strong referral base within Northwest Houston.

The physician will diagnose and treat a wide range of GI disorders, perform EGD/colonoscopy, and participate in hospital consults and call coverage.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Experienced physicians and graduating fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of GI disorders.
• Perform diagnostic/therapeutic procedures: EGD, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy.
• Evaluate and manage patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists.
• Participate in hospital consults, emergency coverage, and call rotation responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive care.

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders, including GERD, IBS, IBD, liver disease, and other acute and chronic GI conditions

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including:

  • Upper endoscopy (EGD)

  • Colonoscopy

  • Flexible sigmoidoscopy

• Evaluate and manage patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes

• Participate in hospital consults, emergency coverage, and call rotation responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive care strategies
