Job summary

Houston Methodist Creekside invites BC/BE Gastroenterologists to join our multidisciplinary GI team. You will diagnose and treat GI disorders, perform endoscopy procedures, and contribute to inpatient and outpatient care at a leading academic medical center.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of GI disorders
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (endoscopy)
• Evaluate and manage GI conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation for hospital consults and emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation of encounters and procedures
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis and treatment options

Job Description:

• Diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, including but not limited to GERD, IBS, IBD, and liver diseases
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, and flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Evaluate and manage both acute and chronic GI conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including primary care, surgery, and oncology, to optimize patient care
• Participate in on-call rotation for hospital consults and emergencies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and procedures
• Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive care

Qualifications:

• Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Ability to obtain a Texas medical license or have a Texas medical license in good standing.
• Candidates with experience or new residents/fellows are welcome to apply.
