Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital in Houston, TX seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a thriving practice in Northwest Houston.

This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care with dedicated clinic and endoscopy time, and robust support from experienced NPs and medical assistants. Join a nationally recognized health system committed to exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
• Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Texas medical license.
• Experienced physicians and graduating fellows are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat a broad range of gastrointestinal disorders.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures (EGD, Colonoscopy, Flexible sigmoidoscopy).
• Evaluate and manage patients in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, surgeons, oncologists, and other specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in hospital consults, emergency coverage, and call rotation responsibilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and preventive care strategies.
