Job summary

Sora Resource Group in Nassau County, Long Island, seeks a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established, physician-led group focused on high-quality GI care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The position offers a competitive compensation range ($375,000-$475,000 per year) with Monday–Friday hours, no on-call, and strong support for clinical leadership and professional development.

Qualifications

• Board-certified (or eligible) in Gastroenterology with NY licensure or eligibility.
• Strong diagnostic, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented approach with patient-centered care mindset.
• Ability to grow and manage a local GI practice.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and value-based care metrics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality gastroenterology care as a key clinical provider.
• Perform history taking, physical exams and interpret labs/imaging.
• Manage a high-volume, full-scope GI outpatient practice.
• Diagnose and treat GI disorders including IBD, IBS, liver disease.
• Develop treatment plans with pharmacological and lifestyle approaches.
• Perform colonoscopies and EGDs for screening and diagnosis.
• Maintain accurate EMR records and support patient safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons and oncologists.
• Promote colorectal cancer screening and liver disease prevention.
• Pursue ongoing medical education and quality improvement.
