Job summary

The 100 Albany Med Health System is seeking general Gastroenterologists to join its Division of Gastroenterology. You will work in a state-of-the-art endoscopy suite, perform various procedures, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO, board certification in Internal Medicine, and experience in managing gastrointestinal conditions. An active medical license in New York State is required, along with a commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care across diverse populations.

The compensation includes a salary range of $400,000–$450,000 with an opportunity for an incentive bonus.

Job description

We are hiring general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology in Albany Medical Center.

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite equipped with state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, along with anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with colorectal, oncologic, trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, pediatric gastroenterologists, GI pathologists, and an on‑site infusion clinic.
• Perform a broad range of endoscopic procedures.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Conduct research and perform scholarly work.
