Job summary

CompHealth is seeking a Gastroenterologist for inpatient rounding and on-call coverage in New Mexico. ERCP and EUS are required, with 8 am–5 pm rounding shifts and a 7-day on-call schedule.

This role offers leave coverage and includes housing, travel, and comprehensive malpractice coverage. Our team will streamline credentialing and privileging, and a dedicated recruiter will manage every detail.

Qualifications

• 8 am - 5 pm rounding shifts; 7-day on-call stretches required.
• 15 patients per rounding shift; 15+ seen per call period.
• 5 - 10 admissions per call; higher acuity GI cases.
• Inpatient hospital setting -- rounding and on-call coverage.
• ERCP (diagnostic and therapeutic) required.
• Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) required.
• Leave coverage.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on inpatients during 8 am–5 pm, with 7-day on-call stretches.
• See approximately 15 patients per rounding shift; 15+ patients per call period.
• Manage 5-10 admissions per call, with higher acuity GI cases.
• Provide inpatient rounding and on-call coverage in hospital setting.
• Perform ERCP for diagnostic and therapeutic needs.
• Perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) as required.
• Coordinate leave coverage as needed.
• Salary and payments negotiated with weekly deposits.
