Job summary

Albany Medical College in New York is seeking general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology. You will join a growing team that handles a wide range of complex gastroenterology patients from across northeastern New York.

The role involves endoscopy in a state-of-the-art suite with anesthesia support, collaboration with colorectal, oncologic and trauma surgeons, interventional radiologists, GI pathologists and an on-site infusion clinic.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or certification in Gastroenterology.
• Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of GI conditions.
• Active and unrestricted license or eligibility for NY licensure.

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic/therapeutic technologies with anesthesia support.
• Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, GI pathologists and infusion clinic staff.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and teach medical students, residents and fellows.
• Conduct research and scholarly activity.
