Job summary

Albany Medical College is seeking general Gastroenterologists to join the Division of Gastroenterology in Albany, NY. You will join a growing team handling complex GI cases from across northeastern New York.

The role involves an endoscopy suite with advanced tech and anesthesia support, collaboration with multiple surgical and medical specialties, teaching trainees, and pursuing research activities in a supportive academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with board certification in Internal Medicine and board eligibility or board certification in Gastroenterology
• Active and unrestricted NY medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of GI conditions

Responsibilities

• Work in an endoscopy suite with state-of-the-art diagnostic/therapeutic tech and anesthesia support
• Collaborate with surgeons, interventional radiologists, GI pathologists and infusion clinic
• Perform various endoscopic procedures
• Teach medical students, residents and fellows
• Conduct research and scholarly work
