Job summary

Millington VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic is seeking a Gastroenterologist to deliver high-quality GI care as a full-time Specialty Care physician. The role includes supervising fellows and residents, and sharing on-call duties with endocrinology colleagues, within a teaching hospital environment.

Requirements include an MD/DO, internal medicine residency, and a completed fellowship in gastroenterology with proficiency in colonoscopy and related endoscopic procedures.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board-eligible/certified in Gastroenterology.
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency; Gastroenterology fellowship.
• Proficiency in colonoscopy and related endoscopic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care.
• Supervise fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Share on-call duties with colleagues; participate in rounds and teaching.
