MedCura Health is seeking a board-certified Gastroenterologist in Atlanta, Georgia to provide comprehensive care for patients with digestive disorders. Responsibilities include outpatient consultations and performing diagnostic and surgical procedures such as endoscopies and colonoscopies.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient and surgical settings preferred.
• Commitment to serving underserved communities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal conditions across diverse populations.
• Perform procedures including endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsies.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care in coordination with surgical center staff.
• Collaborate with primary care and behavioral health teams for integrated care.
• Educate patients on preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Document all encounters and procedures in the EMR system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review.
